Tucked away in a corner of the historic district of South Texas’ Rio Grande City (RGC), the Tabique Speakeasy features rectangular tiles on a barrel-vault ceiling, a play of pattern underfoot, and details that recall RGC as the locus of the Wild West. Card and Company worked with a repeat client and RGC native to create an intimate drinkery with candlelit nooks and tucked-away spaces that’s just blocks from the Rio Grande.
