This historic horse carriage house long served as an entry way to the San Antonio Botanical Gardens. Under a new masterplan, the space would have new opportunity as a restaurant and bar serving visitors to the garden. The key design was to keep a light touch. Respect the rich masonry, showcase the original wood windows, and build out a welcoming bar that feel like it’d been there for a century.
