High Street Wine Co. is expanding across state lines. Next year their new Nashville shop opens in the Gulch, a transformed warehouse district with similarities to High Street's flagship setting at the Pearl Brewery. Popular amongst visitors and locals alike, the Gulch still needs a neighborhood wine bar.

Recognizing this opportunity, High Street asked Card and Company to design a new venue with the crafted aesthetic of their original: mill finished steel, brass details, and polished concrete. We then layered in elements unique to this location and its expansive volume. Entry lounge space revolves around a sculptural staircase. A glassy mezzanine allows private gatherings with a view. And a long bar stretches along the double height space, providing guests the focused service that High Street is known for.
