Monica Donayre has been fascinated by architecture and interior design for as long as she can remember. However, her journey into this field began after taking a class on the world history of architecture. Here, she found her purpose in the profession: a perfect match to balance her meticulous logic and design-focused mindset. Driven by a desire to positively impact her communities and address climate change, Monica  designs to make a difference. Currently pursuing a bachelor of science in architecture at the University of Texas at San Antonio; Monica complements her studies with graphic design, sewing, and photography. With her experience in marketing and design, she joined Card and Company to contribute to the studio's diverse range of projects. 

Originally from Venezuela, Monica now calls home Guadalajara, Mexico. When she is not pursuing her design endeavors, she enjoys watching movies or partaking in the production of indie films. After work, you can often find her running all around San Antonio’s greenway trails.
