A graduate of Iowa State University, he earned a five-year Bachelor's degree in Architecture, complemented by a minor in Sustainability. Macallister's meticulous planning is evident in all his projects, where he often dedicates a significant portion of the timeline to comprehensive research and site analysis.

A native of San Antonio, he's thrilled to be back in his hometown, fortified by a renewed appreciation for Southern hospitality after years in the Midwest. He adds that the food is simply better here too. When not engrossed in crafting sustainable and innovative buildings, you’ll often find him hiking, fishing, or mastering the craft of bread-making, from focaccia and sourdough to rustic loaves and cinnamon rolls.
