Including CURED, Jazz, TX, and the Historic Pearl Brewery’s master plan, Jonathan R. Card has designed some of San Antonio’s most beloved spaces. With twenty-five years of experience creating large and small-scale residential and commercial spaces, Jonathan has been called “the avatar of a new San Antonio school of designers.” Additionally, he is committed to several local nonprofits, including the Children’s Bereavement Center of South Texas, the Ballet Conservatory of South Texas, the Youth Orchestras of San Antonio, and Texans on Mission, as a board member, an architect, or both.

Outside work, Jonathan and his wife have four kids and live in a home he designed. As the kids are active in volleyball, football, and dance, Jonathan is frequently shuttling them or watching games and recitals. Though he rarely has time for it these days, Jonathan loves to sing. A trained singer, and sometimes crooner, he grew up singing in various ensembles, from the church choir to the university chorale, comic opera and madrigals. Some of his favorites are “Your Cheatin’ Heart” and “Fly Me to the Moon.”
