The Maverick Building rehabilitation brings new life to a significant high-rise building in downtown San Antonio, repairing a damaged exterior while restoring architectural features that had been removed in previous decades. Led by local urban development group Area Real Estate, the project team of architects, engineers, preservationists, and contractors updated 86 urban apartments built in a 1996 renovation while restoring public spaces and retail areas to more closely align with the layout and finishes of the original 1922 office building.
